Hi Bob, Thanks! Another nice person, Eddie, from list gave me a couple of those too but maybe you have more in your tree to share. I had her in 1871 and 1881 both before and after marriage to Thomas Shuttleworth. The census form says he is unmarried but he is only 20 and she is 9 so I think possibly Eddie has it right that she may be the illegitimate daughter of one of two daughters an Ann Whinn. Do you have anything more about the Whinn family or the Shuttleworths? I am not sure if I have anything to share with you but If I do I will. Thanks again. I have had the same trouble finding her parents. I have found Agnes WHINN in Ingleton on the 1861 census as grand daughter. There is a Christopher WHINN listed but I can't make out if he is married or not on the census form. I have an Agness WINN aged 19yrs on the 1871 census General Servant to a Richard Shepherd's family at Caton. On the same census return is a Thomas SHUTTLEWORTH, aged 20 who I have as her husband married in 1874. I would be willing to share information if you wish to reply.
