A MEETING will be holden in the TOWN-HALL, in CARLISLE, on MONDAY the 30th Day of this Month, at One o'Clock precisely, to consider of a Plan for the RELIEF of the NECESSITOUS CLERGY residing in this Diocese, and the Widows and Orphans of Clergymen, who may have had Preferment, or have officiated as Curates in the said Diocese. It is hoped, that as many of the Clergy as can make it convenient, will be so good as to attend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTICE TO CREDITORS. THE CREDITORS of JANE and FRANCIS SIBSON, of CROSSCANONBY, who have not sent in the amount of their respective Claims to the Assignees, are requested to produce the same at MARYPORT, on or before the 7th of SEPTEMBER next, when the time of making a final Dividend will be fixed, and no claims can be admitted after that day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ESTATE AT BRUNSTOCK FOR SALE. The Estate is Tithe-free of Hay and Corn, and lies within a Ring-fence. The Land is divided into convenient Inclosures, and well Watered, being in a Corn District; the Fields are ploughed in succession, with the exception of Three or Four Acres of Wood Land. BAINES and SAUNDERS Mc.CORTICLE; consisting of Two Dwelling-Houses, and Out-buildings, and 102 Acres of ancient inclosed Land, together with 48 Acres of Common Land immediately adjoining, and well Watered.—Any additional Buildings that may be required on this Farm will be put up, and any necessary Repairs wanting to the old ones, will be done by the Landlord. LOW AKETONS and ATCHISON'S LANDS, situate at CROOKDAKE aforesaid, and adjoining the last mentioned Farm, and now in the Occupation of JOS. PATTINSON and JOS. BROUGH; consisting of a good Dwelling-House, and Out-builings [sic], and 26 Acres of ancient inclosed Land, together with 63 Acres of Common Land; Three Acres of which adjoin the Ancient Land; 22 Acres nearly in front of the House, and extend from thence along the Road to the River Crummock; and the Remainder adjoin the Allotment to Dryfold. A Meadow opposite part of the Miln Lands, at present occupied by JOS PATTINSON, may be taken with this if required; and any additional Out-buildings that may be wanted on this Farm, will be made by the Landlord. The whole of the said Farms are Tithe and Toll-free, and are only Four Miles distant from the Market Town of Wigton, and at a convenient distance from Coal and Lime, with good Roads. The whole of the Commons are nearly Ring-fenced and Railed, and set with Quicks, and will be finished as soon as the Season permits, and afterwards divided into suitable inclosures for each Farm. Possession may be had of the Common Land immediately for the Purpose of Pairing and Burning, and Cropping: the Ancient Lands are well Watered and Fenced. Proposals in Writing will be received by Mr. PENNY, at Gilcrux, or Mr. D. MAGNAY, at Dovenby Hall, near Cockermouth, where any further Particulars may be known; and the Farms will be Let as soon as an adequate offer for any of them may be made, of which Notice will be immediately given in this Paper: and if not previously Let, the Tenants will be declared on Thursday the 30th Day of September next, at Dovenby Hall aforesaid, between the Hours of 10 and 12 o'Clock of that Day.
