NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the First GENERAL MEETING of the SUBSCRIBERS to the CARLISLE GAS WORKS, for putting in execution an Act passed in the 59th Year of the Reign of his present Majesty, intitled "An Act for Lighting the City of Carlisle and the Suburbs thereof with Gas," will be held at the GUILD HALL of the said City of Carlisle, on Monday the 7th day of June next, at Eleven o'clock in the Forenoon. Dated this 28th Day of May, 1819. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORKINGTON AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. THIS SOCIETY will hold its ANNUAL MEETING, at WORKINGTON, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the 4th, 5th, and 6th Days of August next. The Premiums will be offered to the Public in the Paper of the following week. BEN.
