I am looking for more information about my great grandfather, George PARSONAGE. He was born in 1845-Worcestershire Catshill - and married in May, 1870 to Sarah Walker. His occupation on the marriage license was listed as a Nailer. What is a nailer?? And, by the census of 1900, he was blind. What would the resources be at that time for someone who looses his sight? I have a photo of him "reading a large book: - using his hands....someone must have taught him Braille. Thank you, Betty
