    3. A nailer generally makes nails. They may also be described as nail casters. One branch of my family were nailers for some 100 years in Brum but Worcs was a nailmaking area You can see demonstrations of nail making at Avoncroft museum in Bromsgrove - google for Avoncroft Bromsgrove Some other links which give information - though how accurate I don't know http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=22964#s11 - on this page search for the word nail - (edit - find in this page) then find again - there is a lot of text - tis a good site though for information of all kinds http://privatewww.essex.ac.uk/~alan/family/G-CradleyHeath.html scroll down a bit on this one http://www.sedgleylocalhistory.org.uk/ft/hom/tgss11.html http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/articles/Darlaston/NailMaking.htm http://www.glasgowsteelnail.com/nailmaking.htm You can find others googling Ros ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Wallen" <bwallen@pacific.net> To: <ENG-WARKS-BIRMINGHAM@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2006 12:54 AM Subject: [B'ham] Parsonage >I am looking for more information about my great grandfather, George > PARSONAGE.
