Gary On checking the 1861 Trade Directory I am not sure that it was the Blue Coat School - see my earlier reply to your question. Also was predominately a Charity School, with some fee paying students , but I not sure it was a Boarding School. Using the Neighbour search on 1881, I found the ' Birmingham Boarding School " was in Ann Street. Ann Street is off New Street.
