    3. Hello Rob At least thanks to the Commonwealth War Graves site I know the name of the ship he sailed on. I have managed to find where the ship sank so place of death would not be to difficult. I have found researching Sailors very different to Soldiers it must have been very difficult searching for airmen. My uncle was in the Air Force and I cared for him for several years and his stories were quite harrowing especially as a lot lost there lives on land as well as Airborne.
