I have just found that the maiden name for the wife of my Edwin HEWIN/Hewins was BRITTON. Doe anyone have her or her marriage to Edwin. I found her through a late born son. The earlier children were pre Civil Registration so I am not %100 certain she is their mother. Also there was another Edwin Hewin (m. to Leah) at the same time in the Birmingham and Stafford County area. Does anyone have further on this Edwin who m. Ann? Parents? He seems to disappear but is mentioned in his dau. Emma's marriage in 1844. No sign of either Edwin or Ann in 1850.
