Gerry: This is your lucky day. For many years I have been piecing together the family trees of all the PRESCOTTs in the Midlands, and have found that most of us are related. We nearly all descend from Hugh PRESCOTT and his wife Ann who lived in the parish of Claines, Worcestershire in the late 16th century. Your John and Ann PRESCOTT are on my charts, and if you are descended from them then we are related, although very distantly. In brief, John's father was William, then the line proceeds through Frances, Jabez, Henry, Roger, Richard, Hugh (as mentioned above), John and Hugh. This latter Hugh is the earliest I've found, and was alive in the year 1500. I can fill in the details. Best wishes Paul Prescott (Descended from Richard, above). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerry Edwards" <jedwac342@rogers.com> To: <eng-warks-birmingham@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2006 4:07 PM Subject: [B'ham] 1841 Census Look-up- PRESCOTT- Duddeston Area > Hello Listers: > > I am trying to locate the family of John Prescott and his wife Ann.
