May I add my ten pen'orth please? Both are correct. Tanworth is in Warwickshire, in Arden, part of the Arden Forest of years past. It is near Redditch about half way from Stratford. Tamworth is now in Staffordshire, but back then was in both Counties! Yes, both counties, the border ran along two or three main streets, hence Bolehall, Glascote, Wilnecote, (another Wilmcote near Stratford too), Amington etc, although now 'belong' to Tamworth, they were in the Warks side of the town, with the rest of the bottom south-east section, with the top, north-west section was in Staffs. At one time there was even two Town Halls, although the one that stands now was the Warks one!
