Maybe when you are looking for LEES you will come across a family of that name in the Handsworth or Hockley area from around 1841. They were clockmakers and seem to have originated in Nineveh. There is a whole colony of clockmakers in that area and I can find no particular reason why that should be so does anyone know why they have should have sprung from there. regards alan smith
