    3. Hi Jan, Thanks so much for your replies to my question. As for Gordon, I think he may have picked up the information for Mary Gromore from my input. I have not been in touch with him personally, so would love to have his e-mail address. I have been in contact with a relative of his, though. Do you think that a Trade Directory might have a mention of Mary Ann's father if he was a Pawnbroker? My latest move is to order the birth certificate of the youngest child, Marian Adams (also known as Minnie), to see what the mother's name on that might be. As for looking for a death cert for Mary Ann Adams, I have tried that but have not come up with the right person as yet - there are so many of them, although the one I thought would be her because it was the correct age, did not have a husband named James!
