Could someone please help me with Thomas? I would like to find him in the 1851 and 1861 censuses to try and work out where he was born so that I can get the LDS parish records films. I have him from 1871 onwards. I am trying to find his parents. Thomas Brooks was born in Birmingham in 1834/5. He married Sarah Cox on her 18th birthday in Jan 1858 in Bristol. Their first daughter Susannah Maria was born there in 1860 while the second daughter, Charlotte, was born in Shrewsbury; other children were born in Birmingham. Any help would be greatly appreciated. do you have their wedding cert? it should have his father's name & occupation.
