Annie Louise Pool born Morville St Lady Wood Birmingham 1971 Buried as (possibly) Annie Louise Linehan 01/05/1914 Lodge Hill cemetery Selly Oaks Birmingham. Is the only way to get details of the address she was living at prior to her death by ordering a copy of her death certificate? Annie Louise Pool married Frederick Dowler in 1889. Frederick disappeared soon after the wedding, believed to have gone to America. Annie Louise was living in Hull on the 1891, she was a piano forte tutor. Shortly after 1891 she went to Ireland, probably with concert proprietor John Linehan/Leneahan. When John died, Annie Louise returned to Birmingham. Would also like to know where I could get details of the occupants of 52 Monument Street 1887, any idea's of how I could find out. As always any help/advise is an absolute bonus. Kindest regards Jackie. Mail me jackie005@btclick.com
Not quite the occupants, but the main occupant of 52 Monument Road around May 1886 could be found in the ratebooks. Not 100% sure but I think Ladywood is among them. They are available for consultation on the open shelves in the Archives Department of the Central Library in Birmingham. If you can't get there, for a single address, the staff might be prepared to go and look for you, if you ask nicely!
