Hello all I am looking for any information on St James Church Aston. I have had a look on the net and the only one that comes up was built recently. I don't know whether this was on the original site of the old church. I have a couple of marriages in 1924 and 1929 at St James. It also states in my grandmothers obituary in 1949, there was a service at St James before her cremation at Perry Barr. Does anyone know where this church was in this timescale I did look at St James The Less in Duddeston but I am not sure, I expect its under the expressway! The JENNINGS family lived in Bevington Road Aston. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank You Wendy
