Hello All, Thanks very much for your quick response, I tried free BMD on your advice, could not find anything in Birmingham or Sheffield, so I tried "all districts" and Bingo, came up with Robert Macdonald x Eliza White married in Kensinton London 1856, of course I'll have to confirm this with a Marriage Cert. One thing worries me, my wife's grandmothers family (named White) came from Wandsworth London, dare I research any further? Thanks again Peter Hartlepool
