    3. Hi, Can any one tell me what Parish/District I would need to look at to find the convent which was on the cnr of King Edward St in New Oscott, Birmingham, in the 1871 census. I am trying to track down my G Grandmother Elizabeth O'Brien or Wallace who was an orphan and raised by the nuns in this Convent at this time. Thank you Chris

    3. Hi Chris Not knowing the area well, I may well be wrong but could the Convent you seek be Maryvale? If so its found at RG10 2973 59 17 Alice J MEYNELL will find the location on Ancestry At that time it was in Handsworth Staffs No obvious sign of the names you seek but there is a possible misspelling If not that location, where and when was your Elizabeth born? Best wishes Nivard Ovington, in Cornwall (UK) > Hi, > > Can any one tell me what Parish/District I would need to look at to find > the convent which was on the cnr of King Edward St in New Oscott, > Birmingham, in the 1871 census.
