Robyn My thoughts are that you probably will not find much information on the internet about prisons currently open for security reasons. Information about the building and the architect etc, can probably be obtained from Birmingham library, but I doubt you will find a lot of info. what information did you require? The Prison Archives are at Newbold Revell, but it's very difficult to get a telephone number - I tried and had little luck, but then I got it via someone who worked for the Prison Service. That was some years ago now and I did not keep it. Perhaps you should write to them, giving all details. Newbold Revell is in Warwickshire, near Rubgy.
