I thought I would just comment on the cost of certificates, although I also avoid buying them and only have two "wrong" ones in my collection. Buying from Australia is very fast, relatively cheap and easy, and safe with an online debit card (ie not a credit card). What is horribly expensive is any of the pay-for-view sites and I must say a pay-by-the-month subscription to some commerical enterprises is much more effective than some of the things offered by the British Govt.
