    3. Thanks, James, the record may relate to "my" Ann Brookes who married Simon Onions in 1794. Any suggestions about how to verify that Charles and Sarah were the parents rather than another birth registered in Brum in 1777 which has her Dad as Abraham.? 3. Hi There where several Ann(e)'s baptised around 1777 in Birmingham, the problem is that it does not always give the date of birth on the entries so they could be baptised any time from birth to adulthood. I have Ann BROOKES baptised in St. Martin's the Bull Ring (1 Jan 1773 to 31 Dec 1779) 14 Feb 1775 Anne daughter of Jonathon & Mary BROOKES, 24 Mar 1778 Ann daughter of Samuel & Eleanor BROOKE Could not see the records at St. Mary's Whittall Street as they were in the workshop at that time. St. Philip's (1 Jan 1773 to 31 Dec 1782) 21 Sept 1774 Ann daughter of John & Elizabeth BROOKES 26 Aug 1776 Ann daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth BROOKES 11 Feb 1777 Ann you have. And that is all that I found. It is purely luck if in later documentation ( marriage certs and so on) you may find the Father listed or a brother or sister as witness. All I can do is wish you good luck in your research. James Neil Hearn <neil.hearn3@bigpond.com> wrote: Thanks, James, the record may relate to "my" Ann Brookes who married Simon Onions in 1794.
