Hello Keith Records for St Philip and St Martin are available in Birmingham Library. I know from my own research that all are not on the IGI, it is very incomplete. BMSGH have some fiche available, but I am not sure exactly how many have been produced. Google BMSGH and you can purchase from the site, as NZ is a bit of a long way to travel!! Hi Pauline, A trip to Birmingham would be nice, although not at present being your winter. However a rather expensive way of finding details for a few burials and perhaps the odd marriage that the IGI does not have. The degree of missing data on the IGI became apparent to me in 1993 when a cousin in Nottingham went through the registers there and came back with 40% more entries for Flinders from St. Marys, Nottingham. Alas I don't have any cousins near Birmingham who are able nowadays to go and do research. Age and infirmity has caught up with them. I spent 5 weeks in England August/September last year and was delighted with the weather that was turned on for me. In contrast the summer in this part of NZ has been the coldest on record since 1928, and has seldom been above 16 degrees. Global warming has bypassed us and the iceage commith. Could someone enlighten me on how this happens?? Did the LDS skip pages when they were filming or were there actual books of records that were missed??
