Can anyone find Joseph Spencer, born 1800, in Brum. His wife was Mary Ann and children included Joseph, MaryAnn, Maria, George, Edwin, Thomas and John. I haven't found him in any census!! Jan
Hi Jan, I found this: My ancestor Mary Ann Onions was born in 1803 to James and Martha Onions. She married Joseph Spencer, Builder, in about 1820 [09 NOV 1820]. Her son Joseph Onions Spencer was a bellows manufacturer. I am seeking any information about the history of the Onions family and the Iron Foundries they owned in the 18th-19th centuries.
