    3. Thanks Peter, The IGI is certainly a most useful tool to guide one to where one should be looking for information, but it is not a complete record of every parish that it covers. It is the entries not shown on the IGI I now seek. Fifteen years of research have taught me to consult indexes done at a local level, if available, and the burial information lacking from the IGI is especially crucial to get the fuller picture.
