Hi there Brian and Janet , my daughter lives in Austalia and she has started tracing back again my dads side and she has just found out that my gggrandmother was called EMILY BARNETT born 1858 and she married my gggrandad ALFRED EDDINGTON and he was born 1859 .we always thought my gggrandmothers name was EMILY MOTT but have just found recently this not to be so. The name EDDINGTON has changed several times so could be spelt differently elsewhere. Hi Christine, You never know, there could be some connection. My Emily though, was born in 1873. As you can see below, mine started in Bewdley, Worcestershire and then moved on to Walsall. Where were your Barnetts from?
