Carl, in recent years there has been quite a lot of fuss on health and safety grounds about old tombstones, vaults etc. It could be that the tomb has had to be removed on these grounds, or to make churchyard maintenance easier. When this happens the inscriptions are usually recorded. Why don't you contact the church and ask? There is a website. ( PS a stamped addressed envelope will probably make it more likely that someone will reply!)
