Last child of the "parents"? Look for the child being the illigitimate child of one of the suitably aged daughters of the family thus making this child their grand-daughter. Happened in my family - my father had a sibling he thought was his uncle! I found out long after Dad had passed on but I really don't think anyone knew. Might not be the case in your family, of course, but... worth considering. There's only one other at St Martins but that's after the 1st child was born so less likely. Neither seem to have any link to the name Weaver & I can't find it as a possible maiden name for John's mother either. Sorry I can't sovle this one! I had a particular census record for 3 years before I finally twigged that the last child listed as "daughter" of Sarah Ann was in fact born 2 years after Sarah Ann's husband had died! -- Chris Pampling researching: BARRATT, DANCER, FELLOWS, GOODES, HOLDING, ROBINSON, TUCKLEY, WHEWAY, MAHER all in and around Birmingham/Smethwick, 1850 to present day PAMPLING Cambridgeshire - Sheffield, 1800 to present VARNDELL Wokingham - Birmingham, 1800 to present
Yes it is a thought i had too.The eldest daughter would have been 15yrs old .
