    3. Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy but there was an article in a NZ paper about the difficulties English women were having obtaining Servants in England. Apparently no-one answered their advertisements!!. I recall having a giggle thinking that probably most didn't have the time, energy or ability to read The Times!
