Hello   I'm trying to find more information for my gr gr grandfather Thomas White born c1828.   In the 1851 census he and Selina (nee Allington) are shown as lodgers and married at 95 Upper Brearley Street, Birmingham, St George. Subsequent census data has them in Sheffield until at least 1891.   Can someone please help me find a record of the marriage to Selina as I have been unable to find one. Thomas White was born in 1828, before civil registration, so I am having difficulty in tracing his parents. It's such a common name and the 1841 census gives me three possible matches in Birmingham.   I have been able to trace Selina's parents.   I posted a similar message in June but I don't think it was received as I can't find it in the archive?   Thank you   Graham White Sheffield __________________________________________________________ Not happy with your email address?.
