Hi Jane I got Selina's name by sending for her daughter's birth certificate and then IGI gave me her birth in 1833 at St Philips, Birmingham. Her first child, my gr grandfather Thomas, was born in 1852 in Birmingham so she would have been 19 and unlikely to be previously married. It was some time after this that they moved to Sheffield where they had five more children. Taking your second message; I checked the IGI and found a birth for Thomas in 1827 with Thomas and Hannah as parents which could be the Inge St entry in the 1841. So this gives me two possible Thomas's, the other being Canden St. In the 1841 for Inge St, Thomas has two sisters Hannah and Sarah. "My" Thomas's first three children were Thomas, Hannah and Sarah. The Canden St family names are not seen in later generations. How significant is this? It all seems a bit flimsy on which to base a decision!
