    3. Thank you Brian and Jan Yes, I had seen some Standleys in the registers of St Peter and St Paul, which as Brian rightly says is the church in Aston, but not Eliza. It is possible that she was born in Ireland though, so it maybe that finding a marriage might be more likely.
