    3. Sorry to but in. Does anyone have a Lillian Maud or perhaps Maud Lillian TAYLOR? She is my husband's grandmother and we can discover nothing at all about her before her marriage to Herbert Sidney RANSOM. It is claimed that she lived all her life in the Birmingham area. She celebrated her birthday on 25th May each year. We believe she was born around 1895 ish. Any help would be much appreciated. 3. I know I sound like a broken record, but I have had no new leads on my father, shown on the 1901 Census as "Percy Taylor", adopted son of Walter and Annie Wesson, (my family name) supposedly born in Birmingham, aged 2. There are 25 Percys or Percivals born in Staffs, Wark or Worc between 1897 and 1900, all of which I have eliminated by either having a certificate or found on the Census or in the Death records. I realize that it is a long shot but maybe someone knows of a relative who gave birth to a boy around 1899 and gave up this child for adoption. 3. Just a thought Reg, what is Annie's maiden name. I wonder if perhaps a sister or a cousin had a baby out of wedlock and Walter and Annie adopted him. 3. Thanks, Bev, Annie's name was Gore and was one of 2 girls. I knew her sister as me "Aunt Lizzie" as she and her family moved to Canada in the early 20's.
