    3. Hi Kay I have a map of Brum in 1902 and it shows a school in Chapel House Street that I will send offline. Its next to the church of St Johns which might be a clue to its name. In terms of the school name suggest you contact the Birmingham Archives section at Birmingham library http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/GenerateContent? CONTENT_ITEM_ID=119646&CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE=0&MENU_ID=14555 The photo on this page might show the school next to the church?? http://www.astonbrook-through-astonmanor.co.uk/deritend.aspx You might also find this pub link of interest as it includes a walk along the street, I don't know who did their research but they seem to know the area/ http://www.anchorinndigbeth.co.uk/walk-one.htm best wishes Dave Carr Paignton Devon On 29 Jun 2009, at 22:01, Katherine Andrews wrote: I need some assistance deciphering information found on the 1911 Census. 1) William ANDREWS (my GGF) and his daughter, Mary Frances MEREDITH were living in Aston, Warwickshire at No. 5 Chapel House St.? Diritesne?? What is the actual name of the area? I'm sure "Diritesne" is not correct. Also, both were "school caretakers". Would anyone know what school they might have been working at? 2) Another daughter, Elizabeth MUTLOW, was living with her family at 48 Haybury? Rd., King's Heath, Birmingham. Again, could someone please clarify the street name? Thank you for any assistance.
