Kia Ora Hi from New Zealand I have researched my WARD family backwards and am now attempting to "tidy up" my gt grandpa's siblings & their partners "going forwards". I have JANE WARD born 1868 Alcester who married James BURNS in 1894 . He was aged 23 a bachelor and Girth Weaver. His father was given as John BURNS also a weaver. Unfortunately when the children were born (Eva Mary 1894 & James Henry 1898) both were given the surname BYRNE. James was the informant and used the name BYRNE a Worsted Weaver. In 1901 Jane & the children were with her parents - no sign of James Snr. In 1911 Jane is alone with the children. Both censii say she was married. >From 1920 -30 James & Jane are listed at 69 Lower Dartmouth Street St Bartholmew. In 1934 when Jane died at her daughter's home in Yardley she was said to be the widow of James Byrne an Engineer's labourer. I would love to identify James Byrne on the 1901 & 1911 censuses and am hoping another pair of eyes might help me? TIA Marlene
