    3. My very Irish Boyles crossed the ditch and lived & worked in Ayrshire before emigrating to New Zealand where they too wore the kilt. Apparently Boyles went to Ireland from Scotland a century before (1700s) because of their stonemasonry skills. I think our ancestors travelled more widely than we appreciate!
