Hi Sandra, Just checking my 'inbox' and came across your email from the above digest. The 1911 census shows gr,grandfather Henry aged 64, b S/shire occ. carpenter - his wife Eliza aged 55 b. S/shire - Henry (son) aged 41 a brass worker b Philadelphia USA - John (son) aged 20, b. S/shire. occ. tool maker - Earnest (son) aged 18 b. S.shire. occ. moulder iron - Mary (daughter) aged 17 b/ W/shire. occ. laundry hand - Elizabeth (daughter) aged 15 b. W/shire occ. student - Anne (daughter) aged14 n/ W/shire occ. student. I have checked the 1912 electoral roll and found that Henry is registered and still living at the same address, i.e. 55 Eva Road, Birmingham. Can't quite remember whether the other members of the family would have been voting at that time, in particular the wife. Perhaps you can fill me in on this. Of all my tree branches this is the only one I have not been able to make contact with a descendant of and as it is my father's line it would be great to do so.
