Stephen, I am very interested in the Gumbley family as I have quite a lot of Gumbley's my grandmother's mother in law was Martha Gumbley b 1856. So I have been looking at your query of Charlotte, as I see it there must have been three Charlotte's one married Charles Styles no children two married Edward Morris three children but then there must have been another because if she was born in 1815 then she would have been too old to have the three kids. I think you should get the two marriage cert's to find the fathers. Hope you don't mind me butting in . I can't take credit for finding her; I only discovered her thanks to the replies to this question. > but then there must have been another > because if she was born in 1815 then she would have been too old to have the > three kids. Sorry, I am lost: which three children? There is a third Charlotte, she married William, so there were three Charlotte Gumbleys: William's mother; William's wife Charlotte Gumbley nee Morris, and the third Charlotte Morris nee Gumbley!!!
