    3. Hi Gary, I also have one of my rellies at the Birmingham Boarding School in 1881. I went to Birmingham Library and they could not help as they have no records for it, but it may be worth trying again. Also I posted a message to the list and unfortunately got no replies perhaps you may have better luck. 3. I had to reset my browser the other day and I have obviously had to start rebuilding all my bookmarks. I used to go to a site that showed individual church parish records by actual church all over the UK,( C of E and others of all types,) and you could search them for family names etc. Not a roots web one by surname. Anyone any ideas as to where I found it? I had thought it was related to the IGI site but no. Michele

    3. Hi Gary The enumeration description page is missing so there is no name to the School in 1881, its listed as in Birmingham St Thomas However looking for the Headmaster in 1871 he is with the same secretary at the Blue Coat Charity School I do not know the local history so not sure if both places are the same or the school moved in between or what? Or its just a coincidence that both head and secretary moved at the same time? There is a little on it here http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/WAR/deloyd/bluecoat.html Penned by Robert DeLloyd who I am sure I saw unsubbing recently? 3. I think the father on the 1901 census is a gas fitter too, so I think it is the right family. Maybe they meant to put 1 year 6 months for the baby and somehow the '1 year' got missed off. Janet Northampton On his marriage certificate (dated 1924), his father is listed as a William Henry BAILEY - occupation is that of Gas Fitter.
