Hi again, I forgot to say that my new Schofield family contained one James Schofield who married Mally Fielden of Bottomley, daughter of the Fielden who kept the New Inn at Todmorden. James moved to Todmorden, North Street, and had a joiners shop. In 1810 he was appointed executor of Joshua Fielden's will alongside Samuel Fielden and Thomas Ramsbottom of Ewood.( This Joshua was of Holme, and then Toad Carr and was a manufacturer according to Travis). Can anyone tell me if this is the Joshua who was the head of the Fielden dynasty, and also if anyone has a copy of his will? Talking of wills, thank you Anne for your posting about the probate site. I didn't know about this particular site although I have used the A2 A search facilities. Linda
