    1. [ENG-TOD] Genuki Yorkshire updates
    2. Colin Hinson
    3. Hi All, Please find below a list of the Genuki Yorkshire web-site updates for the past 6 weeks or so. Unfortunately due to business pressures, I haven't been able to do as much on the site as I would like to have done, and there are quite a lot of outstanding transcriptions to be added. I have also a big heap of genealogy related emails to reply to, so if you've written and not received a reply, it will happen eventually! I have noticed quite a lot of "Where is" questions on various of the lists lately and would remind everyone of the "Where is it in Yorkshire" pages on the Genuki Yorkshire site. Whilst I don't pretend to have every hamlet and single house included, at least 95% of the hamlets are included, though perhaps not with all the alternate spellings. If you find anywhere not in the list and have a Grid Reference or OS Landranger reference for it, then please let me have it and it will be added (so long as I can find it on my OS LR map <g>). Best wishes, Colin Hinson In the village of Blunham in Bedfordshire U.K. Maintainer of the Genuki Yorkshire pages: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/ Rare Books on CD: http://www.blunham.demon.co.uk/CDroms/ Baine's & Bulmers directories, History of Craven, Heywood/Northowram, National gazetteer of Great Britain & Ireland, Whelan's York & NRY Hunter's Hallamshire (Sheffield) .........................................
