My ancestors were John Greenwood who married Mary Barker. (A great start) John Greenwood was a joiner in Leeds and I have taken the John Greenwood at Mill Hill in the 1821 Directory to be him. He married Mary Barker (who was born probably at Thornton-by Bradford, but was baptised at Bradford 21.5.1786) at St Peters Leeds on 2.12.1806. I have an idea that her father (John Barker) was also a joiner, or in the trade somehow, and Mary's siblings were baptised at St Peters Leeds. Neither John Greenwood nor Mary Barker seem to have had mothers!! But I have a possible name for John Greenwood's father as Johnathan? Some questions. 1. Is there anyone there who has these people in their lists? 2. Did Mary have any siblings? 3. Did John Greenwood have siblings?
