Thanks for the information Linda, from my memory of visiting the graveyard years ago I know some of the gravestones I'm interested in are at the front. I seem to remember them laying flat on a slight slope. My grandparents grave is at the back of the Chapel, I can roughly remember where it is. I know there are other relatives graves in there somewhere. I used to be taken there quite often as a child - how I wish I'd taken more notice of what my father used to tell me about his family! I don't know when I'll manage to get to Clough Foot, but I'll let you know how I get on.
