Hi all, At last I made it to Todmorden library today. I found quite a few things I was looking for and was pleased with my day, not least because I discovered a few gems in the Tourist Information shop. I spent the first hour trying to train the film reader to my ways. I failed miserably!! I got the hang of it eventually and even managed to use the printer. I went through a few old newspapers but the lens couldn't magnify sufficiently and I found myself squinting at such tiny writing that my eyes gave up, so I moved on to Parish Records and Census. It was well worth the trip. I do like Todmorden. Linda
