The site mentioned by Jack contains information on some Todmorden names. I wrote to Claire Travis last year but other than what is on the tables she has produced she has no further details. The Travis book she has is mainly about the Crompton area I think and deals with a lot of Travis people. She studies the name Travis as a one name study. Linda
