Esther Sorry Esther, I have checked the 1841 census. There is no Ridge Street on it. James Firth would only be 15 in 1841 (according to your dates) so he would not yet be married and therefore no children. I do not know of a Ridge St. in Todmorden. There is a Ridgefoot and much later a Ridge Bank. The few Firths I have in the heads of household index I will check through later. Jack
