Donnelle, I have an Ingham in my tree who is causing me problems. She is my 3 x gt. grandmother, Nancy Ingham. She was the first wife of Samuel Law of Walsden and was born about 1780 in Walsden. The only Nancy of this time that I can find is one who was baptised at Todmorden, mother Sally Ingham of Walsden, supposed father James Ashworth. I don't suppose you have a connection? Linda Sorry for the delay in writing. No - I don't have any notes to help you. I have not come across the LAW or ASHWORTH family at all. My Olive ROBERTSHAW is abit like your record. There is an IGI record of Olive being born to Nancy ROBERTSHAW and William BENTLEY - chr 9Mar1812 at Heptonstall. I don't know if this is my record or not - it is just that the age is right, with the correct mother's name. Then when the mother Nancy, died in 1857, her funeral card was titled Mrs Nancy Robertshaw. So I don't know what her maiden name would be, and no idea who her husband would be or who is Olive's father. And who is William Bentley? Always lots of questions.
