Hello, I am new to this list and am hoping for a minor miracle to break down a brick wall concerning my grandparents. I am seeking infomation on Stanhope HORSFIELD born 22 May 1908 at 2 Churn Lane, Warley, Halifax to Ellen HORSFIELD. His wife Mary Hannah Elizabeth FREEBAIRN was borm in Carlise in 1910. I know they lived in Todmorden in 1936 when their son Colin was born; their daurghter Barbara had been born 2 years previously in Rochdale. There is a further child Keith. Due to family circumstances I am unable to visit the area to search locally held records and would appreciate any input.
