    3. Hi Shirley, I have found the following which may be of interest to you: http://website.lineone.net/~rtfhs/gypsy.html - if you follow the link to the Journal page then Lowther was mentioned in Vol 3 and Loder in vol 4. Vol 5 index (which I have) lists 2 members with interests in Louder and one in Benson. I only have the index with member numbers so no further details. It might be worth joining even if only for a year. http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/uk-romani/2008-01/1199892198 - Bensons in Surrey http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Celtic_Traveller - this seems to give a list of names and where they have been mentioned - Benson and Lowder are both on it http://romanyconnections.wetpaint.com/page/Census+Information%3ALouder%3A http://romanyconnections.wetpaint.com/page/cathayb+surnames+connected+to+me cathayb seems to do quite a lot of geneaology - I think she is a member of the R&TFHS You can also search on this site http://romanyconnections.wetpaint.com/search/everything/benson?contains=benson Hopefully some of this might prove useful - or at least interesting! have fun, Anne ---------------------------------------- > From: samuelphillips@myactv.net > To: eng-surrey@rootsweb.com > Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2013 14:07:40 -0500 > Subject: Re: [SRY] FW: 1851 census > > Dear Anne, Mainly I am researching BENSON starting with my Gt.Grandmother > Sarab Benson christened in Godalming Parish 16 July, 1846.
