Hello Bill, When I worked in London just off Fleet Street, I went into St. Brides Church, it is a very old Church and is known as the Journalist Church, re all of the Newspaper Companies that worked in Fleet Street at that time and Reuters just off Fleet Street. There is no reason why John Dalton and Ann/Anne Brown could not have lived in the Fleet Street area, there are so many businesses located in Fleet Street and the alley ways off Fleet Street. Dr. Johnson lived off one of the alley ways, and the Law Courts are in Fleet Street. John and Ann could have been Cleaners, they work very early in the mornings for all of the Companies and would need to live close to where they worked .
