I used to use the freeware programe 'Parish Locator' I now have a 'Windows 7' PC & this programme will not run ( even in compatability mode) Has anybody found a way of making it run under 'Windows 7' or is there a similar programme that will run under 'Windows 7'? Many Thanks John

Googled "Parish Locator", from top entry was only able to download parishlocator.zip This unzipped, installed and run OK. Did you make a fresh Parish Locator install in Win 7 or was it copied from a backup. If you did a upgrade did you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor tinyurl.com/no4xb7 Have you checked the Windows 7 Compatibility Centre at tinyurl.com/ydcatp6 The local magazine New Zealand PCWorld November 2009 has a excellent 10 page article on Windows 7.
