Hello Jo, If it's a ruin, it could be St. Catherine's. Hello Chris & Gerry Looking at pictures online it is St Catherine's. Most of the picture is the scenery & trees as with many of his paintings [my husband's grandfather]. Thanks Jo
Please correct me but I believe that the route of pilgrimage from Winchester to Canterbury was to St Catherine's, Guildford, then along the road in Guildford now called Pilgrims' Way, to St Martha's, to Newlands Corner and thence to Canterbury Michael Allbrook -----Original Message----- From: eng-surrey-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:eng-surrey-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of jo mason Sent: 15 November 2009 16:03 To: eng-surrey@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SRY] Guildford Church Hello Chris & Gerry Looking at pictures online it is St Catherine's.
